SO WHY HASN’T ANY OTHER PROFESSIONAL TOLD ME ABOUT THIS TYPE OF TREATMENT?

Each specialist or professional is trained to approach the body in a certain way. Most never question or have a desire to look outside of their own methods that they have been trained in.

In 1994 I had the fortune to meet a Professor of Biomechanical Engineering at the Flinders University here in Adelaide. He had researched these very Forces over the human spine and discovered that in the Adult spine under load , meaning, from sitting or when lifting or even exercising these forces are as much as 100 kilograms acting in a downward and sideways ( shearing ) direction  on every spine daily. Over our life time that’s  a lot of pressure. That’s a bit like erosion that creates rivers in nature, however,  in the spine it creates erosion of our discs and joints.

The methods we use to treat the spine at Soastherapy will work for everyone, and theyt are all considered as natural therapies. There are many reasons to treat pain with natural methods including the following.

  • Addresses the Origin of your pain
  • Education on preventing future episodes
  • Ongoing relief of your symptoms
  • Personal self management strategies
  • Awhole new perspective on why your pain returns if you don’t get to understand the cause.

Our continued successes using the Soaz approach to back and Pelvic pain are proof  that it works. The treatment and education is available to you now.

The below testimonial is a typical example of the many testimonials I receive  on  the  conditions that Soaztherapy can help.

The Revolutionary Approach to Back and Pelvic pain Part 1

From ,my 20 years experience as a Physiotherapist and before this a Teacher in Health and Physical Education I have developed a new approach to the treatment of Back and Pelvic pain.  Having diagnosed and treated many of these conditions over the years, I discovered that the way I had been trained to treat these problems was not giving me the amazing  results that my new approach called Soaztherapy does.

Soaztherapy, is based on the FORCES acting over all of our spines. It approaches back pain in a totally novel and unique way to what you may have already experienced with other trained therapists. It is certainly different to how I was trained to treat back pain as a Physiotherapist.

At Soaztherapy, we look at your spine from the INSIDE. Not  from the Outside. What I mean by this is that when  you experience pain in your back or Pelvis is is because you have bad alignment  in your spine. So pushing on the spine from the back or “cracking” the spine will not  address these Forces.  It’s a bit like a car that has bad alignment. This will result in premature wear and tear on the tyres and increased friction on other structures. Incorrect alignment in you and I means premature wear and tear  on our Discs, Joints, and nerves and imbalances in the muscles within the Pelvis. All this results in Poor Posture.

It is these unequal Forces acting over our spines that cause these misalignments to occur. These same Forces  are so powerful that they can pull the spine sideways  commonly known as Scoliosis.

In our training as Physiotherapists we are trained to treat back pain by working directly onto the spine by pushing onto the stiff joints to loosen them. I have treated back pain in this way for most of my years in the clinical setting. I had good results from that approach, but  most times people would come back a couple of months  down the track with   the same pain only sometimes worse on each subsequent visit.  So short term results. I now regard that approach to be symptomatic treatment with in most cases only short term relief.
